Wild Boar

Our wild boar meat comes from a reliable butcher source, and it comes to us frozen at source and  supplied for human consumption. We hand-trim the fats and gristle and slice the meat into chunks to be dried at between 70-72°C and finished to an internal temperature of at least 70°C. Wild Boar is generally considered to be leaner and lower in fat than domesticated pigs, and a ‘novel protein’ as it is not commonly found in dog food.
