Ever heard of, or seen beef lips?

Beef lips are the inner parts of a cow’s lips and cheek, and are lined with papillae, cone-shaped bits that project outwards from the mucus membrane. These papillae are soft but firm when raw, and when dried, become stiff and spiky. While our dogs don’t seem to mind the spikiness, we file down the edges of these papillae (leaving the cone shapes) after drying for your peace of mind.

Beef Lips are low in fat and high in protein. It is rich in collagen and elastin which benefits overall joint health. This makes it a light chewy treat, especially for small dogs. For mid-large dogs, it is a crunchy snack with a bit of a chew to it. Each bag will come in a mix of chunks and longer pieces, which your dog will enjoy chewing on.

Raw beef lips come with a thick layer of fat that we remove to ensure that our dogs do not eat excessive fat, which can damage the liver. We trim off the fat from most of the lip, leaving the precious bit of the usable meat that is oh so yummy! Resource can be scarce so stock is controlled to ensure that we are able to meet your orders. Available stock does not indicate ready stock, only what is practically possible to be made.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE: Once opened store in airtight container or reseal in bag in a cool, dark place for up to 2 weeks. Refrigeration recommended.
RECOMMENDED DOG SIZE: Suitable for all sized dogs
