Umai is a raw fish salad from Sarawak, and we thoroughly enjoyed it the first time our friends made it. When our friends at Kura’s Krafts held a Gawai event recently, we decided to reimagine this unique dish for our dogs. We’re Malaysians after all, so celebrating Malaysian food is our thing!
Our version of Umai is made with cooked mackerel fish & potato, red peppers and fresh parsley. We mix it up and mould it into larger Nibblets XL cubes for visuals & structural integrity. This is a limited release item that is available in limited quantities only.
Each 3x3cm cube is made with approximately 15g of wet weight and we advise treating in moderation, especially for smaller dogs. The cooked cubes are easy to break/cut into smaller pieces and can be easily rehydrated with warm water into a delicious cooked meal topper. The texture is soft and lightweight, and suitable for all dogs including senior dogs, puppies and cats.
Freeze-dried from cooked at low temperatures to preserve nutrients and to provide long shelf-life. Our Freeze-dried Nibblets XL series feature larger cubes (as compared to regular Nibblets) with greater complexities in execution/combination of flavours. Our freeze-dried treats are made in small batches each time, and you may have to wait to receive your order. If you have any special requests, you may contact us to see if we are able to meet them. NOTE: Being a cooked product, the freeze-dried texture is softer. Each cube may be rehydrated with water.

- Reseal bag tightly after opening or transfer to airtight container
- Do not allow to come in contact with water or any liquid. Use dry hands to handle.

Our all-natural treats are processed by hand in our kitchens, and may have variations in size, texture and colour from batch to batch after freeze-drying. The quality of the product is not compromised in any way by these visual irregularities.
