Our Cow Ears are offered with the fur-on, and come in varying sizes, depending on the stock we receive. Cow Ears are tough boneless chews that are slightly lower in fat than Pig Ears, while still offering up a good challenge.
Cow Ears are mostly skin and chewy cartilage, so what you get is a tough chew treat that offers up benefits for joint health. Some ears will come with more fur than others, and we send them out randomly. However, if you want something specifically furry (or not) let us know and we will see what we have for you (no promises!).
Due to the size of Cow Ears, your dog can potentially enjoy it in multiple chewing sessions. We do not recommend chewing for longer than 20-30 minutes each day, so as not to injure their teeth and gums. We only recommend this chew for dogs of 6 months and up.
Chewing stimulates saliva and the hard texture of the dried skin helps scrape plaque from teeth. The fur is edible and serves as insoluble fibre, which will pass naturally through the digestive tract. It keeps pups busy and out from under your feet too!
Cow Ears come in 3 sizes, depending on the stock we receive.
- Small (<18cm length) – May suit small to mid sized dogs who enjoy a longer chew treat.
- Medium (approx 18cm+) – Will suit mid to large sized dogs.
- Large (approx 28cm+) – Best suited for large sized dogs.
RECOMMENDATION: We recommend offering Cow Ear chews for chewing sessions of no more than 20 minutes each time. If not finished, the chew may be swapped out with a high value treat, and kept in the fridge for up to 2 days (longer in the freezer), and offered again another day.
Note: Please offer chews under supervision, especially if your dog is not used to chewing. Half-eaten chews may be removed and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days only, and longer in the freezer.
Note: Not recommended for puppies of 6 months and below as their teeth & jaws are not fully developed and prolonged chewing at that age is not advised for proper teeth & jaw development.

Due to the natural quality of cow ears, the product may differ in size, appearance & colour from batch to batch. Any visual irregularities do not affect the quality of the finished product.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE: Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 3 months. May be refrigerated or kept in freezer.
