For voracious chewers that need something tough and long-lasting, offer them dehydrated cow skin.

Made from cow hide of locally slaughtered cows, these cow skins with fur on are meticulously cleaned of dirt, trimmed of any residual fat, and then cut to size for drying. Once dried, it becomes a tough piece of hide, that withstands multiple chewing sessions. We process it all in-house. Cow skins come in large sheets and are manually cut to size, so the finished product is organic in size and weight.

Chewing stimulates saliva and the hard texture of the dried skin helps scrape plaque from teeth. The fur is edible and serves as insoluble fibre, which will pass naturally through the digestive tract. It keeps pups busy and out from under your feet too!

We offer Cow Skin in 2 varieties:

• Rolled stick (approx 20cm length) – Skin is rolled up and is a tough, long-lasting chew best suited for large dogs or dogs who love to chew and rip. Mid to small dogs will find it too tough
• Sheets (approx 10x10cm) – Flat sheet for pups that might need some encouragement, or smaller pups that want a tough chew.

RECOMMENDATION: We recommend offering Cow Skin chews for chewing sessions of no more than 20 minutes each time. If not finished, the chew may be swapped out with a high value treat, and kept in the fridge/freezer for up to 2 days, and offered again another day.

As Cow Skin comes in organic sizes, we make them available with a min. weight of 80g whether as a single roll, or multiple sheets. Please note that this is a pre-order item and may take up to 10 working days to process.

Note: Please offer chews under supervision, especially if your dog is not used to chewing. Half-eaten chews may be removed and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days only, and longer in the freezer.

Note: Not recommended for puppies of 6 months and below as their teeth & jaws are not fully developed and prolonged chewing is not advised for proper teeth & jaw development.

Due to the natural quality of cow skin, the product may differ in size, appearance, colour and design from batch to batch. We guarantee a minimum weight to avoid misunderstandings. Any visual irregularities do not affect the quality of the finished product.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE: Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 2 months. May be refrigerated or kept in freezer.
RECOMMENDED DOG SIZE: Suitable for medium to large dogs.
