Our barramundi fish is sourced fresh from the wet market, from our trusted suppliers. We and our dogs eat the same fish from the same source! We obtain the fish whole, and it goes directly from the market straight to our kitchens to be processed.
Barramundi fish provides high quality fresh protein and Omega-3 fatty acids which is essential for healthy skin and coat. It is a lean white fish that is low in fat and great for pups and kitties on a diet.
We cut it into chunks for easy feeding (it makes a great training treat!), and you can add it into their meal bowls to boost their meal times with a natural source of Omega-3. The size and texture is also great for cats, who have smaller mouths and weaker bite-force. This freeze-dried version is softer and easier to crumble, and the skin is not as chewy. For dogs who prefer a more crunchy treat, consider our dehydrated Barramundi Chunks – another crowd favourite!
Our freeze-dried barramundi fish chunks are freeze-dried from raw. Add to meals as a topper whether whole or crumbled, use it in training, or crumble it into water to encourage drinking. Suitable for both dogs and cats.
NOTE: While we make every effort to ensure there are no bones, some scales may slip through. These scales are edible and are not a defect.
NOTE: Due to the nature of fish which is naturally flaky and more delicate in texture, the chunks may crumble more easily.
