FREEZE-DRIED COOKED PORK LOIN

60g = Approx 300g raw pork loin

Our single ingredient freeze-dried pork chunks is made from fresh, local pork loin. The meat is the leanest, and we trim and hand-slice it into chunks for chewy treats. In the chunks, the meat comes whole, with the meat fibres still visible, and offer a chewy texture.

Our Pork Chunks are gently oven-roasted before freeze-drying, and are cooked through. We do this specially for those who prefer feeding their dogs cooked meats, or whose dogs cannot handle raw meats. Most freeze-dried treats in the market are processed from raw and retain the raw state once rehydrated. We understand that feeding raw isn’t for everyone, so this cooked treat allows pups of cooked food households to enjoy a freeze-dried treat as well.

The texture of the chunk is softer than the other treats in our freeze-dried range due to the cooked nature. Some parts may be slightly browned from the oven roasting as we roast it whole before slicing into cubes.

It makes for a delicious snack and meal topper, or can be cut smaller, and when rehydrated, can be used as part of a meal preparation. It is a good size & texture for dogs that prefer a bit of chew, and who prefer whole meat textures.
