We were trying out a batch of pork jerky using pork thigh instead of loin, and our dogs went crazy for them!

Pork thigh is from the back leg and is a lean, tough part of the pig. The muscle is a hardworking muscle and comprises denser fibres and connective tissue, and makes for a slightly tougher, more chewy jerky.

We trim off all visible fat, leaving only the lean muscle meat. What makes the Pork Thigh meat different from our usual Pork Loin jerky is the texture and fragrance. It is a tougher, harder jerky, and smells more fragrant as it is a richer cut of meat. This is a limited release only in a small pack and small batch so your pups can enjoy the yumminess our pups have been enjoying.

We make this available separately so you know exactly which part you’re getting, and can assess accordingly the suitability of the meat cut for your pup’s diet.

Meat jerky may soften a little over time when exposed to the air.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE: Once opened store in airtight container or reseal in bag and store in a cool dry place for up to 2 weeks. Unopened packs may be stored in a cool dry place away from direct heat and light or stored in refrigerator for up to 2 months.
RECOMMENDED DOG SIZE: Suitable for all sized dogs of all ages.
