Each 60g bag contains approximately 2 whole quails

Whole quail is stripped of skin  and fat, then ground with meat and bones, and shaped into chips for easy feeding, and to prevent over indulgence.

Quail is a small bird that has lean white meat, and is high in protein and low in fat. Quail is considered a novel protein as it is not one that is commonly fed to most dogs, and is considered a low allergen protein choice. However, do consult your vet if you are not sure, especially if your dog has a poultry allergy.

Instead of offering quail whole as is common in the market, we chose to break it down and grind it to make it easy for dogs of all sizes and ages to enjoy the benefits of quail. We’ve learnt that there are dogs who do not enjoy chewing, or who have weak teeth, and we don’t want them to miss out. Cats especially enjoy quail, and these quail chips are a good size for cats to enjoy.

The Quail Chips contain just lean meat and bone and whole quail is approximately 10-15% bone. Bone is beneficial for dogs as it firms up stools, and adds calcium to their diet. Add it to your dog’s meal bowl as a meal booster, or offer to them as a treat. It breaks easily into smaller pieces to use for training, or to use in a snuffle toy or other enrichment toy.

Our quails are sourced and obtained directly from a local farm that supplies quail for human consumption.

Quail Chips are sold by weight not quantity.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE: Once opened store in airtight container or reseal in bag and store in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
RECOMMENDED DOG SIZE: Dogs of all sizes and ages. May be reconstituted/softened in water for a few minutes for dogs that have problems with their teeth.

No added fillers, colouring or preservatives.
