NOVEL CRUNCHY CHEW TREAT
The rabbit spine is made up of smaller bones, joined with meat and ligaments, and is a relatively easy chew (rabbits are small creatures after all!). The spine comes from the whole rabbits we butcher to use in our rabbit treats.
Rabbit is considered a novel protein, as it is less often found in dog food, and is less likely to trigger allergies. In Chinese TCM, rabbit is considered a ‘cooling protein’ which balances off warm energetics. An option for dogs that cannot eat other types of protein or poultry.
Rabbit Spine is uneven due to the vertebrae, and the uneven surface makes the chew a little more challenging for smaller dogs, and can help clean the surface of their teeth as it scrapes. Being a bone-in chew, it is a crunchy treat that serves a dual function of keeping pups engaged and chewing, and delivering calcium, phosphorus, glucosamine & chondroitin benefits.
Small dogs will enjoy chewing this better and are suited to the smaller spines (70g – 3pcs). Mid-Large sized dogs will find it comparable to duck neck and will enjoy the larger spines (40g – 1pc)
