Pig Ears encourage your dog to chew on the skin and crunch the cartilage. The tough texture keeps them entertained and distracted for longer, and is a great natural alternative to commercial rawhide, as it is fully digestible, unlike rawhide. The irregular shape helps clean teeth as they chew. Chewing is great for dogs, and it helps calm them, and helps them develop strong jaws, teeth and healthy gums.

As a distraction, Pig Ears are perfect for those times when you want them out from under your feet, or to distract your dog from chewing on your shoes or furniture! Dogs love Pig Ears because it’s not only a fun workout for their jaws and teeth, it is delicious too!

Pig Ears are a light-medium chew for dogs. We trim off most of the fats to ensure that dogs do not ingest too much fat, which is unhealthy for them.

Pig Ears are offered in 2 options, to suit different dog sizes and ages:

• Whole Pig Ear – For all sizes, although it maybe too much for small pups to eat at one go! Offer it whole, and swap out halfway with a high value treat to control how much your pup eats. Half-chewed treats may be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
• Pig Ear Strips – Designed for puppies, senior dogs and small dogs, whole ears are sliced into strips, allowing for portion control, and also to be more manageable for them. Puppies and senior dogs may enjoy the strips better as the pig ear will soften as they chew, and the strips offer control, to ensure they do not overindulge. Pig Ear Strips are sold by weight not by piece.  Each 80g bag contains approximately 2 Pig Ears.

Note 1: Please offer chews under supervision, especially if your dog is not used to chewing or are prone to swallowing whole. Half-eaten chews may be removed and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days only.

Note 2: Pig Ear is a natural product and may contain stray hairs which is not detrimental to dogs. Sizes will vary depending on our supplier’s stock. We do our best to ensure that we obtain the largest possible ears!

Note 3: Pig Ears are not recommended for puppies below 5 months old, or very old dogs as they may have trouble digesting. If feeding, feed under supervision.

Due to the nature and limited availability of the raw material, the product may differ in size, appearance, colour and design from batch to batch. We guarantee a minimum weight to avoid misunderstandings. We will source the best quality pig ears available locally and any visual irregularities do not affect the quality of the finished product.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE: Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 2 weeks or keep refrigerated. If ordering more than 1, keep refrigerated.
RECOMMENDED DOG SIZE: Whole ears are suitable for all sized dogs. Strips are suggested for puppies, senior dogs and small-medium sized dogs.
